Christopher Robin “Chris”; Gilley, 50, passed away on March 7, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Lawton, Oklahoma, on September 17, 1975, he was the son of  Richard “Dick” and Lea Anne (Hudson) Gilley. 


  A devoted Elder of Timber Ridge Church, Chris’s faith and his church family were the cornerstones of his life. Chris leaves a legacy of love and kindness. It was impossible to be in the same room with Chris without feeling fully seen and loved. His warmth, compassion, and genuine love for others made a lasting impact on all those who knew him.

  He was preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Diane Blake.

  He is survived by his wife, Stacy Gilley of Stephenville; his parents, Dick and Lea Anne Gilley; and his five children: Michael Gilley and his wife Krystal Boll, Darmi Gilley and her partner Tyler O’Bier, Ella Gilley, Silas Gilley, and Carrington Gilley. He also leaves behind two cherished grandchildren, Keith O’Bier and Karson O’Bier; his sister, Wendi O’Brien and husband Kevin of Keller; his father-in-law, Jerry Blake and wife Lynn; and his sisters-in-law, Whitney Strider and husband Ronnie of Fort Worth, and Amy Mairena and husband Oscar of Graham. He is further survived by numerous nieces and nephews, and adored friends.

  A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at Timber Ridge Church in Stephenville. In honor of Chris’s strength and the community that supported him, the family invites anyone who purchased a T-shirt during his journey to wear it to the service as a tribute to his vibrant spirit. 

  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Timber Ridge Church in Stephenville.
