Louisa Elizabeth “Beth” James, a lifelong resident of Dublin, Texas, passed peacefully from this life on March 9, 2026, at her residence. Born on September 19, 1950, to Frances and Thomas Stewart, Beth was known for her charismatic personality and wonderful heart. She never met a stranger, whether it was during her 31 years at the Post Office or with her beloved church family. Beth was very active in the church and community, loved to travel, was an avid reader, and most of all, was a greatly cherished friend and mother.
Beth is preceded in death by her parents, Frances and Thomas Stewart, and brothers, Charles Stewart and Thomas Stewart Jr. She is survived by her children, Tracie Dipple, Jeremy and Robyn James, Melissa and Blake Bunton, Sarah and Michael Shelly, Bethany and Peter Poulsen, sister, Sharon Beck, 18 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, April 25, 2026, at 10:00am at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints located at 1355 N. Dale St. Stephenville, TX 76401.
