STEPHENVILLE — Tarleton State University’s summer day and overnight camp lineup offers dozens of options across agriculture, arts and athletics. Camps start as early as May 27, with some running through early August, providing valuable learning opportunities and building campers’ self-confidence in a structured environment.

Athletic camps will comprise baseball, men’s and women’s basketball, football, soccer, softball and volleyball. Campus Recreation will offer an e-sports camp as well as swim lessons designed for children as young as 6 months old to 5 years and older.

Creative campers will flourish in this year’s visual arts and performance camps, which include art, digital audio and video, and theatre. Musical offerings include middle school and high school band camps, drumline, color guard and mariachi. Cheer and American Dance/Drill options are also available for campers of all abilities.

This summer’s agriculture camp offers two options: exploring agriculture across different regions or within the jungle environment. Additional science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) camps will include aquaponics, chemistry, veterinary sciences and more, offering campers hands-on experience within each field.

The TexanVille Kids Camp, presented by Campus Recreation in partnership with the City of Stephenville, returns as well. Campers ages 5 through 12 can enjoy the recreational and swimming facilities as well as additional field trips and enrichment activities.

Participants can also gain early exposure to student leadership programs like Future Farmers of America (FFA), Navy Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps (NJROTC) and Texas 4-H, with each organization offering their own camp sessions.
