Loree Dawn (Browning) Behymer

Loree Dawn Behymer, 63, of Morgan Mill, Texas, passed away on August 20, 2026.

Loree was born on July 25, 1963, in Tarrant County, Texas, to Larry and Carolyn Browning.

She was the beloved wife of Roger Behymer, her partner and best friend. Their love was deep and enduring, built over a lifetime of shared memories, family, laughter, challenges, and devotion to one another.

From a very young age, all Loree ever wanted to be was a mommy. She found that joy in her daughters, Chelsea McGowan and her husband, Mack, and Samantha Ramirez and her husband, Brennon. Being their mother was not simply a role in Loree’s life; it was one of the great purposes and joys of her life.

And then she held her first grandchild.

From that moment on, all Loree ever wanted to be was a grandma.

She was a cherished grandmother to Jackson McGowan, DJ McGowan, Lou Ramirez, and Kit Ramirez. Her grandchildren brought her endless happiness, and being their Nanny was among the greatest joys of her life.

Loree is also survived by her father, Larry Browning; her brother, Kevin Browning, and his wife, Donna; as well as dozens of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and other family members who loved her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Carolyn Browning.

Loree was always active in whatever church she attended. As a Sunday School teacher, a nursery worker, a Bible School director teaching them about Jesus, the Bible and God’s Love. She loved every child she had the opportunity to know.

She loved to sing for the Lord almost as much as others loved to hear her sing.

Those who knew Loree will remember the woman herself—her personality, her laughter, her strength, the things she loved, and the countless ways her presence became part of the lives of the people around her.

Above all, Loree loved her family, and she was deeply loved in return.

Her absence leaves a space that can never truly be filled, but the love she leaves behind—within Roger, within her daughters and grandchildren, within her family, and within everyone fortunate enough to have known her, will never end.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made in Loree’s name to Choices Clinic Life Resources Center, Stephenville and Gideon’s International.
