Christa Diane Kindred age 62, of Stephenville, Texas passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 26, 2026 surrounded by her family. Her family will host a visitation on Friday, August 28th from 6 to 8 P.M. at Lacy Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, August 29th at 2:30 P.M. in the Pony Creek (Box) Cemetery in Stephenville, under the direction of Lacy Funeral Home, with Pastor Ben McCleery officiating.
Christa was born on March 8, 1964 to Billy and Doris Noonkester in Hico, Texas. Christa married Michael Kindred, together they built a life together that blessed them with one son, Kevin. She was the co-owner of her and Michael’s Drywall company. She enjoyed the simple things like, feeding and calling in birds, and watching windmills. But most of all she loved spending time with her family and grandbabies.
Christa is survived by her husband Michael Kindred of Stephenville; son Kevin Kindred and wife Alexandria of San Antonio; her grandbabies, Jensen and Lila Kindred; brother Larry Noonkester and wife Lorie of Corpus Christi; nephew Adam Noonkester.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Billy and Doris Noonkester, and niece Amber Ramsdell.
