August 19, 1946 ~ August 31, 2026 (age 80)
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Bruce Carol Haney on August 31, 2026.
Bruce was born August 19, 1946, in Victoria, TX to William Frank Haney and Jeanette Blanche White. He was a mechanic and was a member of the First Baptist Church. Bruce enjoyed fixing just about anything, rebuilding old cars, and spending time with his family. Bruce married Gayle Ryden on June 19, 1976, in Florence, TX.
Bruce is survived by his loving wife, Gayle, his two children, Jennifer Haney, Derek Haney and wife Jenny, his grandchildren Elizabeth, Nolan, and Rebecca Haney, his sister Jeanette Dittert, and sister in laws, Clothyle Haney and Judy Haney.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Blanche Haney, four brothers and sisters, Bill Haney, Grace Lewis, Marjorie Fromme, and David Haney.
A visitation for Bruce will be on Friday, September 4, 2026, from 9:00-10:00 AM at Lacy Funeral Home, his service will begin at 10:00 AM following the visitation, burial at West End Cemetery following services.
