Kimberly Anne “Kym” Snell Ross passed away peacefully September 3, 2026, surrounded by her loving family and close friends.
Born May 7, 1969, in Omaha, Nebraska, Kym was the cherished daughter of Russell and Marjorie Snell. She pursued her passion for helping others by entering the medical field, working hard to build a highly successful career as a radiology and sonography technician. She dedicated several years of exceptional service to Granbury Medical Center, where she was known and respected by her colleagues and community for her incredible work ethic and her unwavering dedication to her patients.
Outside of work, she had a deep love for the water and found peace in everything about it, a passion she loved sharing during her favorite moments with her daughters, whom she loved beyond measure. From a very young age, she also held a profound, lifelong love for all animals. Kym dedicated a wealth of her time, love, and energy to her family, and in recent years, she thoroughly delighted in her role as a grandmother “Lovie”, spending as much time as possible spoiling her beloved grandson, Kash Russell Morris.
She is survived by her mother, Marjorie Snell, her father, Russell Snell (who passed away shortly after Kym), her daughters, Kellyn Morris and husband Kaleb, Caroline Ross, and Tatum Ross, her grandson, Kash Russell Morris, and her siblings, Carolyn Snell, Jolene Gallegos and husband Mike, and Nancy Snell-May and Husband Brianna, along with her cherished nieces and her nephew.
A celebration of life will take place at 11 am on Saturday, September 26, 2026, at the Cowboy Church in Stephenville, Texas, with a reception to follow.
