McKenzie Kaye Elzi of Stephenville, Texas gained her angel wings on October 31, 2026, after fighting valiantly and bravely for many years.
McKenzie was born on November 7, 2002, in Denver, Colorado, to William Elzi and Rebecca Morrow Elzi. She was a student who loved to draw and write, loved animals, and enjoyed playing with her dogs and shopping, but her most cherished time was spent with her family.
McKenzie is survived by her parents, William and Rebecca Elzi, and her three brothers, Zacharey Elzi of Lubbock, Nicholas Elzi of El Paso, and Blake Elzi of Kyle, Texas. She is also survived by numerous cousins, extended family members, and friends.
In honor of McKenzie, the family invites everyone to wear pink to her services.
A visitation will be held on Friday, November 6, 2026, at Lacy Funeral Home from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 7, 2026, at Morgan Mill Baptist Church at 2:00 PM. Burial will follow at Morgan Mill Cemetery.
