STEPHENVILLE (January 12, 2017) — Following is the Tarleton Athletic Communications preview for Tarleton State’s women’s basketball against Texas Wesleyan in Lone Star Conference play.

THE GAME
Fresh off a thrilling overtime win in Kingsville, the TexAnns have a short turnaround to prepare for two games this week as Tarleton returns to Wisdom Gym for a Tuesday night showdown with league rivals Texas A&M-Commerce and Texas Woman’s. Tarleton will tip-off at 5:30 p.m. against both opponents – Commerce on Tuesday and Texas Woman’s on Thursday in Wisdom Gym.

TARLETON SPORTS NETWORK
A complete broadcast of the games can be heard on the Tarleton Sports Network presented by the North Texas Ford Dealers. The new Voice of the TexAnns, Kyle Crews, will have the call on the flagship station of Tarleton Athletics – KTRL 90.5 FM in Stephenville – and worldwide at TarletonSports.com/ListenLive.

TICKET INFORMATION
Tickets are available at the Wisdom Gym Ticket Office. General admission seating is $7 for adults and $5 for non-Stephenville Campus Tarleton Students. Children ages two and under are admitted free of charge. Tarleton Athletics also promotes ‘Reserved Ticket Exchange’, which allows any reserved ticket holder not planning to attend the game to leave their seats to someone else by calling Beth at (254) 968-1832 in the Tarleton Ticket Office.

INSIDE THE SERIES: TEXAS WOMAN’S
Tarleton and Texas Woman’s have been squaring off on the hardwood since 1983 and the TexAnns have won 28 of 43 all-time meetings for a 28-15 record against the Pioneers, including an 18-3 mark against TWU in Stephenville.

UP NEXT FOR TARLETON
After playing four games in seven days, the TexAnns will take a short break by having seven days to prepare for West Texas A&M next Thursday at 5:30 p.m. in Stephenville.
