STEPHENVILLE (July 12, 2017) — Participants in the Texan Elite Camp, one in a series of boys basketball camps offered by Tarleton State athletic director and head coach Lonn Reisman and directed by associate head coach Chris Reisman and assistant coaches Coleman Furst and Chris ‘TD’ Harrell, didn’t realize wha a treat they were in for Monday through Wednesday at Wisdom Gym. Campers were divided into competition teams coached by Tarleton basketball players themselves.
Shown below are images captured from games played the final day of camp Wednesday. Teams coached by high-flying Tarleton sophomore Josh Hawley and incoming sophomore shooting guard Brandon Johnson going head-to-head on one end, while matching up at the other end were squads coached by Rivals 3-star center Clashon Gaffney, and past Conferene 6A standout point guard Ryan Birt, two of the seven freshmen to sign letters of intent with the Texans.
