Sharon ‘Katy’ Glasgow, 76, of Hurst, passed away on Tuesday, December 26, 2017 in Fort Worth.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, December 30th at Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel with Byron Garrison and Bob Glasgow officiating. Burial will follow at Erath Gardens of Memory. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM, 1 hr. prior to services on Saturday.
Katy was born on May 23, 1941 in Stephenville to the late Billy Waters and Billie Wynelle Stracner. She married the love of her life in Oklahoma, 59 years of a loving marriage, to Thomas W. ‘Tommy’ Glasgow. Tommy preceded her in death on December 10, 2008. Katy was raised in Stephenville, and graduated from Stephenville High School. She was a member of the Stephenville First United Methodist Church, lived several years in Austin, and the past 55 years in Hurst. Katy was a hairdresser, homemaker, and floral designer.
Katy is survived by her son, Bruce Glasgow of Hurst; daughter, Laurie Moss of Hurst; grandchildren, Joey Moss, Cody Moss, Ashleigh Moss, and Christopher Glasgow; great grandchildren, Brooklynn Moss and Thomas Joe Moss; sister, Deborah Ann Hardin of Hurst; half-sisters Judy Baldwin and Rita Kouns; sister-in-law, Nancy and husband Paul Golightly; brother-in-law, Bob and wife Deanna Glasgow; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Besides her parents and husband, Katy was also preceded in death by a son, Robert Gregory Glasgow; and a granddaughter, Kristyn Moss.
