Services for Sercy Ray Bostick, 87, of Lingleville, who died on Monday, August 13, 2018, will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, August 16, 2018, at Lacy Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Hannah officiating. Burial will follow at Bunyan Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, August 15, 2018, at Lacy Funeral Home.
Sercy was born in Lingleville, Texas, on September 12, 1930, to Bob Sercy & Thelma (Williamson) Bostick. He married Mary Alice Hazzard on January 19, 1952, in Erath County. He was a Rancher, Farmer, Propane Truck Driver, and Dairy Farmer for many years. He was a member of Emanuel Baptist Church in Lingleville and was also a musician and played the Dobro.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Bostick of Lingleville; daughter, Marilyn Grimshaw & husband, Gene, of Desdemona, Texas; one son, Larry Bostick of Lingleville; one brother, Bobby Dale Bostick of Schretz, Texas; five grandchildren, Tonya, Scott, Brandon, Will & Niki; and great-grandchildren, Chloe, Brock, Alena, Corbin, Reydin, Tristan, Jacob, Claire, James, Gage, and Julie.
