(December 22, 2014) — Four Stephenville players have been named to the Associated Press All-State football team in Class 4A.
Under Armour All-American Jarrett Stidham was listed as a second-team quarterback. He passed for 2,934 yards and 35 touchdowns while rushing for 969 yards and 15 scores. Stidham verbally committed to Baylor last Friday after decommitting from Texas Tech six days prior.
Sophomore running back Kaegun Williams accounted for Stephenville a school-record 2,842 yards all-purpose yards in 2014 and already owns the school record for touchdowns in a career with 50. He was named to the honorable-mention all-state offense list, along with Noah Perez, a senior tackle who helped clear the path for a Yellow Jacket offense that averaged 45.6 points and 531 yards per game.
The other all-state nod went to Cameron Reynolds, a nose guard who made the second-team defensive line list after earning honorable-mention acclaim last year. The senior had 73 tackles including 19 behind the line of scrimmage.
