GRAVESIDE SERVICES: 2:00 pm., Monday at Crowell Cemetery in Crowell, Texas under the direction of Womack-Manard Funeral Home in Crowell, Texas.
Lee Ellen Simmons was born on October 22, 1930 in Foard Co., Texas. She went to be with her LORD on January 9, 2015 in Stephenville, Texas at the age of 94 years, 3 months and 18 days. She was the daughter of Bert Hanks and Jennie (McDaniel) Hanks. She was united in marriage to William Simmons on July 12, 1938 in Quanah, Texas and to this union 4 children were born. She was preceded in death by her daughter Pamela Kay Simmons in 1945 and by her husband on May 9, 2006. She is survived by: Her Daughter: Sandra Pruitt of Roscoe, Texas Her Sons & Daughters-in-law: Dueaine & Brenda Simmons of Dublin, Texas Randy & Micki Simmons of Dublin, Texas ( 9) Grandchildren (19) Great-grandchildren and numerous great, great-grandchildren Her Sister: Francis Cluff of Perrington, Texas and a host of other relatives and many friends who will miss her dearly.
She will be laid to rest by her husband, William Simmons, in the Crowell Cemetery following services.
