“The Life of a Simple Man” Jason was born in Brownwood Texas on August eleventh nineteen eighty. From the time he was a little boy he was in high gear always on the go. Jason was always a little mischievous child, getting into something and looking for the next something to get into. He never saw a mud puddle he could resist, whether with new shoes on or on a new four wheeler. He loved basketball from a young age and idolized Michael Jordan and his ability to dunk the basketball. He played baseball as well and thought Nolan Ryan was the best. From a young age he grew up outdoors and loved hunting, shooting and fishing anytime Dad could take him along. Jason always enjoyed riding whatever would go fast, from bicycles, three wheelers, four wheelers and motorcycles. School was never Jason’s strong suit but he did manage to be the center of attention although sometimes not in a good way. He had a real passion for boats and being on the water. Jason was a hard working young man. He would help anyone do whatever needed and not expect anything in return. He didn’t have a lot of friends but the ones he had meant the world to him. Jason was loved dearly by his family and friends and will be missed severely by all of us who loved him and by those who had yet to meet him. He worked in Galveston, Texas in the service management department of an RV and Marine Dealership. He passed away on January 28, 2015 at the age of 34. He is survived by his daughters, Makenze and Preslee Starnes of McGregor, Texas; his Father, Keith Starnes and wife, Belinda of Stephenville, Texas; his mother, Kelly Hill Farr and husband, Rusty of Vernon, AZ; His Brother, Emmitt Farr of Vernon, AZ.; his paternal grandparents, Joe and Martha Starnes of Dublin, Texas; his maternal grandmother, Judy Hill; his step-siblings, Shaelyn Billings, Brieanne Escalante, Justin Egdorf and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. He lived life true to himself as a simple man.
