Marie Driver

Marie Driver went to be with her Lord and Savior on January 29, 2015, surrounded by her family. Marie was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother. Her family meant everything to her and nothing brought her more happiness than for all the family to be together.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM Monday, February 2nd at Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel with Don Parker officiating. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery. Visitation will be 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Sunday at Stephenville Funeral Home.

Marie was born on January 25, 1924, in Hico to the late John and Lucille Wilson Parker. She married Winfred J. Driver on May 27, 1941 in Hico. He preceded her in death on August 27, 2002. Marie was a member of the Graham Street Church of Christ, a member of the Duracells, and lived most of her life in Erath and Hamilton Counties. She was a homemaker.

Marie is survived by her children, Linda and husband Win Parr of Granbury, Ronnie Jay and wife Sherry Driver of Amarillo, Larry and wife Barbara Driver of Fort Worth, and Tammy and husband Mark Burgan of Stephenville; grandchildren, Michael and wife Kim Parr, Michele and husband David Hardiman, Kelley and husband Rick Gaskey, Rodney and wife Tammy Driver, Misti and husband Frank Nichols, Robin and husband Evan Vines, Niki and husband Gearhart Jenkins, Emily and husband Rick Gerik, Sarah and husband Brit Mills, Brandi and husband Eric Harris, Brittney and husband Patrick Kostecka, and Sabrina Burgan; 24 great grandchildren, and 7 great great grandchildren; sister, Betty and husband Vivian Williams of Waco.

Marie was also preceded in death by a sister, Johnne Dickerson.
