Services for Virginia Mae Hale, 82, a retired custodian with the Stephenville ISD, who died Wednesday, February 18, 2015, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, February 21, 2015, at Harvey Baptist Church with Grant Goodman officiating. Burial will follow at East End Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Friday, February 20, 2015, at Lacy Funeral Home.
Virginia was born in Erath County, Texas, on June 30, 1932, to Lee and Eloyce (Wood) Raulston. She married Frankie Hale on July 21, 1978, in Stephenville, Texas. He preceded her in death on February 19, 2001. She was a member of Harvey Baptist Church.
Survivors include her children, Phyllis Tate and husband, Lonnie, of Stephenville, Janice Wyatt and husband, Bob, of Arlington, and Danny Dowell of Dublin; her grandchildren, Barry Tate and wife, Beth, of Wichita Falls, Wendy Terry of Fort Worth, Matt Tate and wife, Kala, of Burleson, Daniel Dowell and wife, Hannah, of Stephenville, and Dustin Dowell of Houston; and nine great-grandchildren.
