STEPHENVILLE (February 24, 2015) — Tarleton State is back in the top 10.
After winning contests at West Texas A&M and back home against Eastern New Mexico, the Texans were poised to move up from No. 11. Paired with losses suffered by five teams in last week’s top 10, they jumped four spots to No. 7 in this week’s National Association of Basketball Coaches NCAA Division II poll, released Tuesaday afternoon.

Tarleton, also the No. 1 team in the South Central Region, visits McMurry in Abilene at 6 p.m. Wednesday following a 4 p.m. women’s contest. The Texans are back home Saturday and will be playing for at least a share of the Lone Star Conference Championship when they host Texas A&M-Commerce at 7 p.m., following a women’s game at 5 p.m.
