(April 23, 2015) — Lingleville is sending four boys to regionals in two events, including one double qualifier.
Bailey Fenn placed third in the 800 meter run and also runs a leg on the 4×200 relay that placed fourth at a Class A area meet on Wednesday. Tom VanKranenburg, Devon Corpus and Adrian Briseno also ran for the Cardinals, who may have to survive a protest from Gordon.

Lingleville coach and athletic director Kade Eckert said Gordon won the 4×200 by a wide margin but was flagged for taking a handoff out of their lane. He believed Gordon was planning to protest the ruling.
The regional meet is Friday and Saturday, May 1-2, at Tarleton State University’s Memorial Stadium and Oscar Frazier Track.
Lingleville girls scoring at area were were Natalie Koke, sixth in the girls 400 meter, and Larryssa Pierson was sixth in the 100.
