Stephenville – Services for Steve Wayne Walton, 53, owner of Walton Contracting, are pending at Lacy Funeral Home Chapel with Werth Mayes officiating. Burial will follow at Erath Gardens of Memory Cemetery.

Steve was born in Pasadena, TX on July 3, 1961 to Bert and Ann Walton. He married Donna K. Reid on July 13, 1982, in Stephenville.

Survivors include his wife Donna Walton on Stephenville; parents Bert and Bonnie Walton of Hamilton; father in-law Nugent Reid of Stephenville; children Brandon Barham and his wife Amanda of Carson City, NV, Brittany Walton and her partner Cynthia Heaton of Stephenville, and Rachel Cox of Stephenville; sisters Vicky Walton and her partner Susan Leto of Salt Lake City, UT, Carla Walton of Houston, Angie Collins and her husband Keith of North Richland Hills, Kelli Nolen and her husband Mark of Hamilton, Bonnie Lou Snipes and her husband David of Okinawa, Japan; brothers Rick Walton and his wife Sherry of Liberty, Greg Walton and his wife Lana of Humble, Bert ýThumperý Walton, Jr. and his wife Mona of Hamilton; grandchildren Donald Sy, Zailiee Sy both of Carson City, NV, Zac Cox of Mineral Wells and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother Ann Hudgins on June 8, 1992 and his mother in-law Peggy Russey Reid on October 11, 2013.
