(June 8, 2015) — The 10U Stephenville Sox finished second in a Super Series State Tournament in Austin over the weekend, earning an automatic berth to the Super Series World Series July 4-8.
The Sox dominated the KRB Bandits 8-1 and the Georgetown Blasters 12-4 to earn the No. 3 seed in bracket play. They opened the playoff rounds with an 11-4 win over Austin Slam, and edged Texas Hardball 3-2 in the semifinal.
The 12U Sox split a pair of pool games and lost in three extra innings in their first bracket contest.
