ERATH COUNTY (June 17, 2015) — Wet weather conditions were probably to blame in a three-vehicle accident that sent one to a local hospital. Just before noon on Wednesday, as Tropical Storm Bill moved into the area, first responders from Erath County and Palo Pinto County were dispatched to the scene on US Highway 281, north of Stephenville at the county line. Only one patient was trapped in the white car and Santo VFD extracted that patient who was then transported via ambulance from the scene.
