GRAVESIDE SERVICES: 1:00pm Monday, August 3rd at Old Dublin Memorial Park Cemetery with Mike Hannah, officiating.
VISITATION: Monday, August 3rd morning at the Funeral Home before going to the service.
MEMORIALS: Meals on Wheels or CCS Hospice in Dublin.
Newell Clyde Carpenter was born on February 10, 1927 in Baileyboro, Texas. He went to be with his LORD on July 30, 2015 at the age of 88 years, 5 months and 20 days.
Newell was the son on Morton Lewis Carpenter and Minnie (Mowry) Carpenter. He was united in marriage to Ruth Dunlap, who preceded him in death on September 17, 2014. He was also preceded in death by 1 grandson. He is survived by his son, Gerald Carpenter of Weatherford, Texas and his daughter & son-in-law, Shirley Carpenter & James of Houston, Texas; 4 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; 3 sisters: Geri Warren of Haltom City, Texas, Bonnie Carpenter of Muleshoe, Texas and Hazel Bradley of Hawkins, Texas and his brother, Jim Carpenter of Muleshoe, Texas. He also had several nieces, nephews & other relatives and friends who will miss him dearly.
Newell was a veteran of the U. S. Army and a retired truck driver.
