STEPHENVILLE (August 4, 2015) — The City of Stephenville is once again looking for a Director of Planning and Building Services with the news Judy Miller was quietly let go from her position late last week.
It is unclear why Miller is no longer with the city, but she had not finished a required probationary period. Still being on probation would have allowed City Administrator Pat Bridges to remove Miller from her job without a council meeting.
An executive session is planned following tonight’s regular monthly city council meeting. It is unknown if that meeting will discuss the future of city inspector Tom Heap, who was placed on administrative leave by Bridges in the same time frame as Miller’s firing.
Bridges was unavailable for comment Tuesday afternoon.
