Dublin senior Conner Moore named Dale Hansen Scholar Athlete

(September 9, 2015) — Conner Moore is an all-state player on the field and an academic star in the classroom.

At 6-3, 235, Moore is used to being one of the big guys on the gridiron, and now he’ll receiver a big award in the limelight.

Moore will be honored as a Dale Hansen Scholar Athlete of the Week during the Sunday, Oct. 4 edition of Dale Hansen’s Sports Special, which airs at 10:30 p.m. on WFAA-TV Channel 8.

Moore helped Dublin to the playoffs for the first time in 11 years, and to its first post season victory in 50 seasons in 2014. The Lions are 1-1 this year and host Rio Vista for their annual homecoming game Friday at Dublin’s Memorial Stadium. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m.
