Carmen G. Rodriguez

Carmen Garcia Rodriguez, born July 17, 1925 in Gerrero Coahula, Mexico to parents Julian and Francisca Mata Garcia, passed away in Stephenville, Texas September 11, 2015 at the age of 90. Carmen who also was known as Carmilta loved to spend time with family and friends and enjoyed sewing. Carmilta is preceded in death by her parents; husband Eliseo Rodriguez and son Servando Hernandez. Survived by son Marcos Hernandez and spouse Conception of Piedras Negras, Mexico, daughter , Maria Calalina Costilla and spouse Daniel of Annona, Texas, daughter , Rosantina Vela and spouse Demetrio of Uvalde, Texas, son Gerardo Rodriguez and spouse Isaac of Clarksville, Texas and daughter Maria Del Carmen Garza and spouse Armando of Hico, Texas. Also surviving Carmilta and many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Visitation was held from 6-8 PM on Sept. 12 at Harvest Hills Funeral Home, located at 118 Second Street in Hico. Chapel Services were held at 3 p.m. Sept. 13 at Harvest Hills Funeral Home in Hico.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 14 in Hillcrest Cemetery in Uvadle, Texas.
