FUNERAL SERVICES: 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, October 21, 2015, at Comanche Funeral Home Chapel.

BURIAL: Oakwood Cemetery in Comanche.

VISITATION: Family will receive friends at Comanche Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 20, from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.

LUNCH: Lunch for the family will be at 11:30 A.M. on Wednesday, at Full Gospel Church Fellowship Hall.

Kenneth L. Steele, age 81, passed away on Saturday, October 17, 2015, in Comanche County, Texas.

He was born on August 5, 1934, in Comanche, Texas, to Leonard Lee and Octavia (Burks) Steele. On September 1, 1951, he was united in marriage to Anytha Marie Smart in Comanche. Kenneth was a Minister, and in 1985 became Pastor of Full Gospel Non-Denominational Church in Comanche, where he remained until prevented by recent illness. In all those years he officiated at countless funerals and weddings throughout the community. He was devoted to his wife, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren and his congregation.

He is survived by his wife of sixty-four years, Anytha Steele of Comanche; daughters, Terry Reeves of Comanche and Debbie Saulter and husband Tex of Comanche; son, David Steele of Comanche; five grandchildren: Angela Collins, Jason Garms, Stephanie Jock, Lance Reeves and Kristy Cox; eleven great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; brother, Tommy Steele and wife Ima of Midlothian; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Octavia Steele.
