FUNERAL SERVICES: Saturday, October 24th at 2:00 pm in the Fellowship Hall of the Cottonwood Baptist Church.

INTERMENT: Cottonwood Cemetery.

VISITATION: Friday, October 23rd from 6 to 8 pm at Harrell Funeral Home.

MEMORIALS TO: American Heart Association, Diabetes Foundation or the Comyn Baptist Church.

Lewis E. Malone was born on January 22, 1932 in the Edna Hill Community of Erath Co., Texas. He went to be with his LORD on October 21, 2015 at the age of 83 years, 8 months and 29 days. He ws the son of Mose Edward Malone and Mary Ola (Robertson) Malone. He was united in marriage to Tommie Nell Wilson on April 12, 1952 in Dublin, Texas and to this union 3 children were born. He was preceded in death by 3 sisters: Shirley Ann Wuistinger, Ada Lee Dellaughter and Mattie Ola Ivson and by one great-grandson.

L. E. is survived by his wife, Tommie Malone of Dublin; his daughter & son-in-law, Louise & Tom Wiggins of Liberty, Texas; His sons & daughter-in-law, Tommy Malone of McKinney, Texas and Charles & Jean Malone of Dublin, Texas. His 6 grandchildren: Zachary Warren, Shannon Warren, Joyce Myers, Anna Hill, Adam Malone and Cherrie Martin. 17 great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and many friends who will miss him dearly.

L. E. was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the U. S. Army; in the 1940’s, he served on the Dublin Volunteer Fire Department, was a member of the Jaycees, the Dublin Young Farmers Chapter, the Erath Co., Sportmans Club and the Antique Tractor Club; and was a self-employed truck driver who drove for Henderson Feed Company & A. O. Easley; and a member of the Comyn Baptist Church.
