(December 3, 2015) — After needing overtime in its early win, Stephenville eased through its second game of tournament action in Glen Rose Thursday, drubbing West, 58-24.
Sophomore Payton Wall poured in a career-high 15 points to lead Stephenville, while Kali Smith netted 13 and Bayleigh Chaviers 11. Emily Brandon added eight, Skyler Chipman six, Abby Brawner two, Liz Pack two and Kaitlin Pierce one.
Stephenville did not yet know its next opponent as of the time of this writing, and head coach Alan Thorpe is trying to schedule the game around three players taking the SAT test Saturday morning. The Flash will keep readers updated as information becomes available.
