Services for Letha Faye Carlisle, 87, homemaker, who died Sunday, December 6, 2015, will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, December 9, 2015, at the Lacy Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Buddy Wells officiating. Burial will follow at 2 p.m., Wednesday, December 9, 2015, at Zephyr Cemetery, Zephyr, Texas.
Letha was born in Brownwood, Texas, on January 4, 1928, to Elmer and Maude (King) Petty. She married Joe Carlisle on September 6, 1947, in Newburg, Texas. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Stephenville, Texas.
Survivors include her husband, Joe Carlisle of Weatherford; children, Kala Ash and husband, Larry, of Willow Park, and Larry Carlisle and wife, Jeanne, of Arlington; five grandchildren, Angela Ash Lemons, Brandon Ash, Lindsay Kostelnik, Heather Garcia, and Megan Overstreet; and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Garland Petty and Clarence Petty, and a sister, Eva Morris.
