(January 5, 2015) — High school soccer begins this week with both Stephenville teams traveling to Everman for scrimmage play this evening and opening their regular seasons on Friday.
All high school teams will be scrimmaging in Everman, with the varsity Honeybees to start at 5 p.m. followed by the varsity Yellow Jackets at about 6:30 p.m. on the turf pitch at Dr. J.E. Marr Stadium.
Two junior varsity boys scrimmages will be played on auxiliary fields at 5 p.m., and two JV girls scrimmages will be played at the same locations at about 6:30 p.m.
The Honeybees begin their regular season in Kennedale later this week. They face Kaufman at noon Thursday, Kennedale at 3:30 p.m. Friday and an opponent to be determined on Saturday.
The Yellow Jackets kick off regular season play at home against Alvarado at 7:30 p.m. next Tuesday.
