STEPHENVILLE (January 12, 2016) — Tarleton State climbed three spots up the top 10 ladder to No. 6 in the National Association of Basketball Coaches rankings, setting the stage for a Lone Star Conference showdown with No. 4 Midwestern State.

It’s the 37th consecutive week Tarleton has been ranked among the top 15 in the nation.

Rival Midwestern climbed two spots in the poll, partially because No. 4 Angelo State suffered its first two losses to Tarleton and Texas A&M-Commerce in LSC play last week.

Tipoff at Ligon Coliseum Wednesday is about 7:30 p.m. following a women’s contest between the same teams.
