Tarleton’s women look to get a win as the TexAnns host the Eastern New Mexico Greyhounds at 5:30 p.m. in Wisdom Gym Wednesday.

TEXAN IRON OPEN HO– USE
Assistant Athletic Director for Athletic Performance Rod Cole has announced an open house for fans to tour the newly renovated Texan Iron Weight Room at halftime and in-between games Wednesday night. The open house will also extend to the home game on January 30 .

LAST TIME OUT
Tarleton couldn’t withstand a second-half Texas Woman’s charge and dropped its second straight game 61-58 to the Pioneers Sunday afternoon.

THE OPPONENT
Eastern New Mexico continues to improve each year under head coach Josh Prock. The Greyhounds, who are in the first season under a shared moniker after spending previous seasons as the Zias, have already matched the season win total from Prock’s first campaign and are creeping up on last season’s magic number (9). The Hounds are led in scoring by a pair of double-digit scorers – Kassandra Harris (12.8) and Mikaehla Connor (10.0).

THE SERIES
Tarleton is 30-12 all-time against Eastern New Mexico, including 16-5 in Stephenville.

DOWNTOWN TRIO
Since 2004, Tarleton has had just four players in its history connect on over 100 3-pointers in their careers (Katie Crawford, 230; Peyton Adamson, 151; D’Anna Dingler, 119; Kathy Thomas, 100) but have three players on this season’s roster closing in on triple digits. Meagan O’Dell (91) is nine 3-pointers shy of moving into a four-way tie on the all-time 3-ball’s made list in school history while Raven McGrath (88) and Bailey Wipff (82) are also closing in on the century mark.

STREAKING vs THE HOUNDS
Tarleton has won 17 straight against ENMU, the longest active streak against an NCAA opponent.

DIFFERENT HERO
Over the last four meetings against the Greyhounds, formerly the Zias, Tarleton has been led in scoring by four different TexAnns. Kathy Thomas (17), Bailey Wipff (21), Shanae Lowrance (16), and Kiara Wright (39).

IWOBI vs THE HOUNDS
Ikpeaku Iwobi has posted a double-double in each of her last two games against the Greyhounds. The junior from Houston went for 11 points and 11 boards in her last game against the Greyhounds and 12 points and 13 rebounds in last year’s first match-up.

UP NEXT FOR TARLETON
Tarleton will face its first nationally ranked foe of the season this weekend when the TexAnns head to Canyon for a 2 p.m. showdown with No. 8 West Texas A&M.
