(February 9 ,2016) — Haley Freyman is 5-0 as part of a 6-1 start by No. 10 Tarleton State on the softball diamond, and now the sophomore from North Richland Hills is the Lone Star Conference Pitcher of the Week.
Freyman has three wins over teams that won more than 30 games in 2015, and against those powers she has an ERA of 0.00 with 11 strikeouts and a 1.64 opponent batting average in 17.2 innings.
Freyman has the best ERA in the LSC among pitchers with more than 15 innings of work. The right-handed ace boasts a 0.41 ERA over 34 innings.
Tarleton is headed to Canyon for Classic play Friday through Sunday. They open the event at 11:30 a.m. Friday against Metro State (Colo.).
