ERATH COUNTY (March 1, 2016) – Early voters spoke and the numbers were too large to overcome in most contested races in Erath County.
In the early voting numbers Tommy Bryant got 69.75% of the sheriff votes, Joe Brown has 65.53% of the commissioner votes, and Jason Schipper has 56.15% of the Constable votes. Totals were Sheriff – Bryant 67%, Murray 28%, Lecroy 5% || Pct 3 – Brown 58% and Dove 42% || Constable, Pct 1 – Schipper 50%, Daily 33%, Towe 17%
“I’m honored and so blessed to serve and protect the people of Erath County for another four years,” Bryant said. “I’m just grateful to have the support of the county and look forward to another successful term.”
Brown agreed, saying he looked forward to another great four years.
“I’m very pleased the voters of Precinct 3 came out and supported me for another term,” he said. “I’m looking forward to continuing the great work we’ve already accomplished, not only in Precinct 3, but in Erath County.”
