Stephenville – Services for Georgia Dell (Stephenson) Sharp, 79, homemaker, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 19, 2016, at Lacy Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Lower Greens Creek Cemetery in Dublin. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m., Saturday, March 19, 2016, at Lacy Funeral Home.
Georgia was born in Stephenville on April 29, 1936 to George Stephenson and Mary Francis (Green) Stephenson. She married Weldon Sharp on April 29, 1955, in Stephenville. He preceded her in death on January 30,1991.
Survivors include her son: Weldon Lynn Sharp and wife, Kelley of Weatherford, grandchildren; Lacie Hester and husband, John of Denton, Brodie Sharp of Weatherford, Chelsie Reading and husband, Ben of Austin, great-grandchildren; Christian Hester of Denton, Abby Reading of Austin, Oliver Reading of Austin, and Everett Reading of Austin, several nieces and nephews. The family wishes to give a special thank you to her nephew Charlie Cole and his wife, Janet of Stephenville for all of their help and care throughout her life. She was preceded in death by one son, Kenneth Sharp on August 2, 1985, her husband of 30 years, Weldon Sharp on January 30, 1991, and her five sisters.
