FUNERAL SERVICES: Graveside, 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 4 in Proctor Cemetery in Proctor with burial to follow.
Wilma Jo was born on January 21, 1929 in McKinney, Texas. She went to be with her LORD on April 4, 2016 at the age of 87 years, 2 months and 24 days. She was the daughter of Willie Gordon Smith and Tina (Short) Smith. She was united in marriage to Edward P. Carleton on March 17, 1946 in Houston, Texas. Her husband preceded her in death on May 1, 2013.
She is survived by her sons – Don E. Carleton and Ronnie P. Carlton; her grandchildren – Ian A. Carleton, Aunna F. Carleton, Travis Carleton and Lorena M. Carleton; her great-granddaughter – Harey Carleton; her sisters – Irene Morton & Ruth Walden; and a host of other relatives and many friend who will miss her dearly.
Wilma was a member of the Methodist Church.
