STEPHENVILLE (April 10, 2016) – James Howard was a pastor for more than four decades. All five of his sons share God’s word, including former Erath County resident Mo Howard, a singer-songwriter who uses his talent to share music centered on faith, family and life experiences.

Mo currently serves as lead pastor at Music City Guitar Church in Gallatin, Tenn., but he’s making the return trip to Stephenville for an event honoring his father’s legacy. On Sunday, friends and family, as well as a faithful flock of music lovers will gather at Community Life Center at 1217 Glen Rose Highway in Stephenville for the 2nd Annual James Howard Legacy Concert Night of Worship.

The event will be held 6-10 p.m., featuring Mo Howard, Danny Bingham and others.

There is no admission fee, but a love offering and donations collected will benefit scholarships for an “model” Erath County student, who has a “heart for ministry.”

A scholarship application form can be found online at mohoward.com. Students who would like to apply – they do not have to be pursuing a full-time ministry – should download the form and mail the completed application to Mo Howard Music at 50 Shady Valley Drive, Lebanon, TN 37087 or email to mohowardmusic@gmail.com.
