ERATH COUNTY (April 14, 2016) – Officials with the Erath County Sheriff’s Office said officers were dispatched to a report of a robbery in progress at the Dollar General Store in Bluff Dale before 11 a.m. on Thursday. However, they discovered the incident was actually theft by shoplifting.

Despite the change in the charge, officers are still looking for any information on two suspects who fled the scene on foot.
