ERATH COUNTY (April 14, 2016) – Officials with the Erath County Sheriff’s Office said officers were dispatched to a report of a robbery in progress at the Dollar General Store in Bluff Dale before 11 a.m. on Thursday. However, they discovered the incident was actually theft by shoplifting.
Despite the change in the charge, officers are still looking for any information on two suspects who fled the scene on foot.
“We have the vehicle in custody at this time,” said ECSO Chief Deputy Jason Upshaw. “Now, we are looking for the two male suspects who fled the scene on foot.”
Those two suspects are described as a white male in his late teens or early twenties, wearing a gray shirt and black shorts; and a hispanic male shown in the photos released by the sheriff’s office.
All information can be forwarded to the Erath County Sheriff’s Office by calling 254-965-3318.
