Fish Day in The Park draws a large crowd

The annual Fish Day in The Park in Stephenville drew a large crowd of anglers who got to fish and learn more about outdoor adventures Saturday.

Sponsored by the Stephenville Bass Club, Stephenville Parks and Recreation Department and Texas Game Warden Association the event was held in conjunction with the Tarleton Student Wildlife Society. In addition to fishing, — youngsters got to try their hand at archery, shooting. learning about various kinds of snakes and much more.

Everything a person would need to go fishing was on hand with poles, bait, hooks and floats available for free use.
