ERATH COUNTY (April 19, 2016) – More than 60,000 people are expected to converge on Melody Mountain Ranch in Erath County this week for the annual Larry Joe Taylor Texas Music Festival. The event brings thousands of concert goers to town, boosting our local economy but also crowding local roads and the county jail with law enforcement calling in extra assistance from area departments. Despite the recent rains, everyone seemed to enjoy the wonderful tunes, cold drinks and good times. Below are a few captured moments from the first night of excitement.
