Nora “Nan” Moncrief

Nora “Nan” Moncrief was born on June 5, 1924 in Dublin, Texas. She was the daughter of Cliff Wilhite and Nora (Arrington) Wilhite. She was married to William L Moncrief on October 10, 1942 in Comanche Co., Texas and he preceded her in death in February of 1970. She was also preceded in death by 2 grandchildren, Chad & Cody Cook, 2 sisters, Sue Wilson & Joyce Land; and her brother, Johnny Wilhite.

Nora is survived by her daughter & son-in-law, Joyce Ann & David Cook of Stephenville, Texas; her granddaughter & husband, Regina & Andy Nation of Stephenville, Texas; her grandson & wife, Dustin & Jennifer Cook of Garland, Texas; her great-granddaughter, Madison Nation of Stephenville, Texas; her brothers, C. B. Wilhite & Odell Wilhite, both of Houston, Texas; her sister, Lucille Smith of Comanche, Texas and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.

Nora was a Christian & member of the First Baptist Church in Dublin, Texas. She has gone to live an eternity with her LORD. Nora loved to play bingo, cards & dominoes. She like to dance. But next to Jesus – she adored her 2 grandchildren and her great-granddaughter.
