FUNERAL SERVICES: Graveside in Dublin Liveoak Cemetery, Tuesday, May 31st. at 2:00 pm.
VISITATION: Tuesday from 12 noon until service time at First United Methodist Church in Dublin.
MEMORIALS IN LIEU OF FLOWERS: MD Anderson Cancer Research Hospital or First United Methodist “Community Table Fund” in Dublin.
Rodney was born on February 5, 1947 in Dublin, Texas. He went to be with his LORD on May 28, 2016 at the age of 69 years, 3 months and 23 days. He was the son of Roy Lee Armstrong and Agnes Irene (Pierce) Armstrong. He was united in marriage to Stormy Humphries on September 27, 1969 and to this union 2 children were born. He was preceded in death by his parents and his nephew – Todd Armstrong.
Rodney is survived by his wife – Stormy Armstrong of Dublin; his son – Brad Armstrong of Arlington, Texas and his daughter & son-in-law – Stacy & Dan Michalak of Kerrville, Texas; his granddaughters – Gabriella & Abigal Michalak of Kerrville, Texas; his brother Roy Morris Armstrong of Odessa, Texas and his niece – Andrea Holloran of Midland, Texas; and a host of other relatives and friends who will miss him dearly.
He was the owner of Armstrong Motor Co. in Dublin; a graduate of Dublin High School in 1965, a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and a member of the “Open Road Racing Group”.
