(June 15, 2016) — Dillon Barber won three events, Robert LeBeouf was victorious in two and Sophie Ballew won one, highlighting a strong day of swimming by the Stephenville Stingrays at a Region IV preliminary meet in Southlake last weekend.
Barber, 14, won the 100-meter freestyle, the 50 freestyle and 100 individual medley in the boys 13-14 division. He completed the 100 free in 57.09 seconds, the 50 free in 25.33 and the 100 IM in 1:07.66, while posting a perfect total of 60 points for the Stingrays.

LeBoeuf, 12, dominated the boys 11-12 division in similar fashion, adding a second place finish to his pair of victories. The young Stingray won the 50 backstroke in 35.99 and the 100 IM in 1:25, and was runner-up in the 100 freestyle in 1:11.78.
Ballew, 8, captured the lone victory on the girls side for Stephenville. She won the 8U girls 25-meter backstroke in 22.64 seconds while also taking second in the 25 freestyle in 21.23.
