STEPHENVILLE — The Women’s Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) All-American Scholars were announced on Tuesday and Casey Wild was selected for the prestigious honor.
The criteria for selection to the All-American Scholar Team are some of the most stringent in all of college athletics. The minimum cumulative GPA is 3.50.
Wild was also named the Lone Star Conference Academic Player of the Year and on the LSC All-Academic team in 2016. In addition to Wild’s academic success, the sophomore from Australia was a first-team All-LSC selection and named to the first-team All-Region.
