Arthur Marion Harcrow, born July 7, 1924 in Electra, Texas to parents Arthur and Myrtle (McDaniels) Harcrow, passed away in Waco, Texas on July 9, 2016 at the age of 92. Arthur who was known by “Crow” or “Paw Paw”, loved his kids, grandkids, fishing, and sports, and was the host of the Loden family reunion for many years. Arthur was an electrical engineer and a member of WAP. Arthur was preceded in death by two brothers, Elmer Harcrow, Ollie Harcrow and one sister Wanda Blackwood. Surviving Arthur are his wife Rachel Harcrow, four children, Marion Lee Pierce, Rachel Ann Wade, John Harcrow and wife Sue, Brenda Joyce Stroud, seven grandsons, Robert Charles Pierce, Jr., Shawn Lee Pierce and wife, James Jeffery Pierce and wife, Charles Timothy Wade and wife, Brian Christopher Harcrow and wife, Joshua Cody Stroud and wife, Micah Loden Stroud, two granddaughters, Rachel Amy Perkins, and Jonna Leigh Anderson and husband. Arthur is also survived by 10 great grandsons and 9 great granddaughters.
Service Information
The family will receive visitors from 6 until 8 p.m. on Monday, July 11, at Harvest Hills Funeral Home, located at 118 Second Street in Hico. Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, July 12, in the Hico Cemetery with Harvest Hills Funeral Home handling the arrangements.
