Stephenville (July 28, 2016) – On Tuesday, October 18, the 22 Annual Choices Fundraising Banquet will host Lieutenant Colonel Oliver North as the keynote speaker. This is a change from previously announced Gretchen Carlson as the speaker.
“Due to circumstances beyond her control, Gretchen regrets that she will be unable to attend the Choices banquet this year,” explained a representative. “She wishes to extend her best wishes and prayers for a successful event and for the work of Choices Clinic & Life Resource Center to grow tremendously in the coming years.”
“Though we were concerned when Gretchen changed her plans, we are certain that Lieutenant Colonel Oliver North will be an excellent speaker. Col. North’s faith is very important in his life, and we know he will speak to our mission passionately,” stated Ashley Graves, Executive Director of Choices Clinic and Life Resource Center.
Four years ago, Choices changed the format of the annual Banquet, and this year will be different again. The event is being moved under the stars at the N at HardWay Ranch. A secondary plan is already in place in case the weather doesn’t cooperate, but organizers are confident that the beautiful October nights will hold for the event.
Previous table sponsors will have the first chance to reserve a table, and the event will sell out at 75 tables. Tables may be reserved for $1,000, which includes seats, dinner for 10 people and the organization’s name in the program. Individual seats, including dinner, may be purchased for $100 a seat. Currently, 49 tables are already reserved.
Choices Clinic & Life Resource Center is a Christian ministry opened in 1994 dedicated to preserving the value of human life by providing abortion alternatives, practical assistance, and education to the Cross Timbers area. They offer free pregnancy testing, peer counseling, parenting education, abstinence education, practical support, and more services. Center locations include Stephenville and Hamilton.
