Morgan Mill – Services for Emma Armstrong, 95, a beautician, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 17, 2016 at Lacy Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Joe Rogers and Patrick Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Morgan Mill Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday, September 16, 2016 at Lacy Funeral Home.
Emma was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on July 10, 1921 to George W. Stover and Stella (Swain) Stover. She married Oscar E. Armstrong on May 28, 1940, in Tolar, Texas. He preceded her in death on May 17, 1972.
She was a member of the Morgan Mill Baptist Church in Morgan Mill, Texas.
She also owned and operated a beauty shop for thirty years.
Survivors include her daughter, Allie Mae Armstrong of Arlington, Texas as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Along with her parents and husband, Emma was preceded in death by her sister, Catherine Roberson in 2001.
