FUNERAL SERVICES: Graveside in Dublin Liveoak Cemetery on Saturday, October 15, 2016 at 11:00 am. with burial to follow.
VISITATION: Saturday morning until service time at Harrell Funeral Home.
Gladys L. Maikell was born on July 9, 1923 in DeLeon, Texas. She went to be with her LORD on October 12th in North Richland Hills, Texas.She was the daughter of George Lucas Bagwell and Ava L. (Boswell) Bagwell. She was united in marriage to Jack Maikell on December 12, 1941 and to this union 3 children were born. She was preceded in death by 2 children – Beverly Sue & Tommy Jack; Her son-in-law, Jay Carter; her husband – Jack; Sisters – Iona Kloster & Dorothy Traweek; and Brother – Bill Bagwell.
Gladys is survived by her daughter – Chris Carter of North Richland Hills, Texas; her granddaughter & husband – Lesley & Paul Armstrong of Ft. Worth, Texas; her grandson & his wife – David & Nandra Carter of Keller, Texas; and her great-grandchildren – Madison, Ally & Jack Armstrong and Carrington & Grayson Carter; and a host of other relatives and many friends who will miss her dearly.
Gladys was a member of the Lakeside Baptist Church in Granbury, Texas.
