STEPHENVILLE (October 18, 2016) – The Stephenville Police Department has Jason Lynn Hogan, 32, in custody for yet another charge of indecent exposure.

According to Sha King with the SPD, the department worked a case in 2005 where a suspect (later identified as Hogan) exposed himself to a then 15 year old female at a business in the Bosque River Center. Hogan was convicted in that case and has to be on the sex registry.

When multiple reports of a white male, driving a white Dodge pickup approaching females in public locations and while asking for directions would expose himself while acting in a lewd manner came into the department, King said SPD investigators looked at the registry and were able to narrow their search to Hogan.

King said investigators with the Erath County Sheriff’s Department, working closely with investigators for SPD and the Erath County Attorney’s Office, were able to build a case against Hogan which resulted in a warrant being issued.

Hogan was arrested and transported to the Erath County Jail for one count of indecent exposure on October 18. Despite previous charges being with a child, this count is with a female over the age of 18. His bond was set at $5,000 with the conditions he be placed on an ankle monitor and he attend sex offender counseling while out on bond.

King said SPD would like to encourage anyone who may be a witness or a victim of this type of offense to contact the Stephenville Police Department.
